ESA-NCB Award of Excellence in IPM
This award recognizes and encourages outstanding contributions to integrated pest management in the North Central Branch. The annual award consists of an inscribed plaque, presented at the North Central Branch meeting.
Eligibility
A nominee must have made outstanding contributions which have a direct relation to integrated management of arthropod pests. Special consideration will be given to independence of thought and originality.
Nomination Process
The submission of nominations must be made electronically (MS Word file or PDF) to the NCB National ESA Awards Chair.
The nomination package must include:
- Name, address, phone number, and e-mail address of nominee
- Academic record, including degrees, dates, and institutions only
- Brief description of positions, specifying area of research or particular problem
- Summary of research accomplishments
- List of publications.
- Professional activities, including presentation of scholarly papers over last 10 years and professional society memberships
- Other related information, including honor society memberships and other honors
- Additional supporting information, including letters of recommendation
Deadline
Application/nomination packages must be received by the NCB National Awards Chair by December 31.
Notification
The NCB Awards Committee Chair or NCB President will notify all candidates and their nominators with the results of their nomination.
