ESA-NCB Recognition Award in Urban Entomology
This award recognizes and encourages outstanding extension, research, and teaching contributions to Urban Entomology in the North Central Branch. The award consists of an inscribed plaque, presented at the North Central Branch meeting.
Eligibility
Each nominee must have contributed significantly to the advancement of entomology through work in urban entomology.
Nomination Process
The submission of nominations must be made electronically (MS Word file or PDF) to the NCB National ESA Awards Chair.
The nomination package must include:
- Name, phone number, address and e-mail address of nominee
- Degrees received, including fields, dates, and institutions
- Brief description of professional positions
- Summary of accomplishments
- List of publications
- Professional activities, including presentation of scholarly papers (last 10 years) and memberships in professional societies
- Other related information, including honor society memberships, and other honors
- Additional supporting information; letters of recommendation may be included
Deadline
Nomination packages must be received by the NCB National Awards Committee Chair by December 31.
Notification
The NCB Awards Committee Chair or NCB President will notify all candidates and their nominators with the results of their nomination.
